COMMERCIAL & CULTURAL

The partners of R&R Design have over 25 years experience in a broad range of architectural interior design projects, in the commercial and cultural sector ranging in scale and complexity. We specialise in designing environments where the continuation of a brand image and / or experience is a major influence on the interior design concept. We have worked across a broad cross section of sectors including hotel and leisure, office, retail, restaurants, museums, temporary and permanent exhibitions and showrooms. Each has it's own dynamics and business / strategic influences. At R&R our design philosophy is based on recognising the most successful way to achieve creative design solutions, is in applying attention to detail in every aspect of the design process.

We have defined this approach into four key stages:-
  • Investigation
  • Definition
  • Design (concept and development)
  • Implementation
Fundamental to the success of a project is the importance to us of developing a close working relationship with our clients. We begin the design process with an investigation stage, in which we discuss your specific requirements, strategic objectives, style preferences, the role the interior environment has to play, functional and operational needs and of course budget. We can also offer integrated branding, communications, digital media and graphic design solutions where required.

We are very experienced in working as part of a design team involving a wide range of specialists depending on the scope and scale of the project and are happy to make recommendations where appropriate including:-
  • Architects
  • Structural engineers
  • Quantity surveyors
  • Lighting consultants
  • Landscape designers
  • Bespoke joiners
  • Building contractors
  • M&E services consultants
  • Artwork suppliers
  • Graphics designers and digital media consultants
