Case study - Richmond private residence

This project involved the total refurbishment and extension of a Grade II Listed mid-Victorian house. R&R Design became involved following the initial master planning submission by an architectural practice. R&R Design implemented the interior architectural and design role working very closely and under the direction of the ‘hands on’ client to transform a near derelict old residence into a fantastic modern family home. Works included design detailing new staircases and other architectural elements; all fitted joinery; planning and co-ordination of services installations and lighting controls in liaison with the lighting designer and services contractors. The project also involved achieving a very close working relationship with the main contractors and their specialist suppliers to accomplish minimal detailing of a very high standard of execution.
